GIN Learning Post: Resources for the 2025 Legislative Session
Do you wish you had the knowledge base to identify what your elected State Representative is doing during the legislative session? Do they serve on a committee that piques your values? What is the difference between a study bill and a bill? How do you learn when public hearings will be held? How can you track legislative progress?
Answers to those questions will be provided on Thursday, November 13, at 8:00 via Zoom.
Knowledgeable leaders, Kay Mackey, recently named the outstanding State volunteer of the Iowa Democratic Party, and Marti Anderson, a State legislator for 10 years will provide background information and be available to respond to your specific questions.
These two women will also explain STORM, a network of over 600 people who receive weekly information regarding upcoming legislative issues.
